a friend of mine connected me with a very brave woman named lindsey. this special lady decided to follow her dreams and pursue her passion for photography. i know a little something about taking a huge leap of faith and chasing your dreams even when you're afraid of failure or things not working out. so i could really relate.
in lindsey's case, her leap of faith isn't related to fertility, it's about her career. she decided to leave a stable corporate job to start her own business called the joy archival. she's all about storytelling through pictures and capturing those small (or large) joyful moments in life. i love her documentary style as opposed to the more traditional posed portraits.
i really connected with lindsey when we met and was ecstatic when she offered to capture some special moments for us. our son's nursery. nesting and waiting for our baby boy. his birth and first bath. the things in life that you want to hold onto and remember for years to come. the moments that take our breath away when we think about them later in life.
here are some of the moments that she captured for us. preparing for our son. carrying him in my womb. our family finally on the verge of expansion. pure love and joy.
