where my heart resides

Pismo Beach is a magical place for A and I.
Someday we hope to buy property and retire there.

I went to college near there.
We got married on that beach.
Celebrated our 1st anniversary.
Ran my first half marathon.
It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

And...that is where I wish I was today.

Here are some no filter pictures so you can get a sense of the true beauty of this place.

Where is your special place?

Pismo Beach is beautiful and so serene!

We have a couple special places like Maui and Kauai, but our MOST special place is Yosemite National Park. Last year we wrote our living wills and specified that we both want our ashes to be spread at the bottom of Panorama Trail in Yosemite someday. Seriously one of the most beautiful spots on this earth that we've visited!

These are gorgeous pictures! I can understand why you love that place! For me, it's definitely Colorado. I'm originally from CO, some of the happiest memories of my childhood are these, and Sam and I honeymooned there... I don't know when we will get back, but I'd LOVE to move back someday! There's just something about the beauty, the air, the lifestyle... calls to my soul!

Beautiful. :) That looks so peaceful... My special place is home in Colorado. I was just there last weekend; it takes my mind off everything. Wish I could visit more often.

There is a small town in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas called Eureka Springs. My husband and I got married there overlooking a beautiful blue lake. We go as often as possible now.

So gorgeous! I have a special place, too, that I think is beautiful! My husband's grandfather built a house on a lake with his own two hands many decades ago. When he passed, he left it to my husband's mom. It is where we got married and where we vacation as often as we can. <3
