I did it!!!

Against all odds.
I did it!!!!

Despite the cramps from my endometriosis.
Despite the fact that I started my period that morning.
Despite the fact that I was doubled over in pain afterwards.
I ran my entire half marathon and finished with a respectable time.

Under 2 and 1/2 hours.
13.1 miles.
I'm so proud of myself.

The crazy thing is that I'm not even sore today.
Guess the 165 miles that I put into my 13-week training paid off.
But I wouldn't have been able to do it without my running buddy, Jenn.
She kept me going both in training and in the race.

And my sweet hubby who encouraged me, supported me and was my biggest fan at the finish line.
Thanks, A!

Although I don't know if I'll ever run another half marathon, it felt amazing to set a goal and accomplish it, especially in the face of pain and adversity.
