Gratitude

source
Gratitude.
The word doesn't feel large enough to encompass all that I feel today.
To feel my chest rise and fall is reason enough to rejoice.
But I have so much more to be grateful for.

The ability to run and be filled with a sense of accomplishment.
The cool Fall breeze blowing on my face as I type this.
A wonderful man to spend my weekend with.

The mutual respect that exists between myself and the two people I work closest.
Blogger friends who have helped me grow and taught me so much.
Real life friends that continue to love me.

But most of all, I'm blessed to have my grandmother with me on this earth.
Almost a year ago, she was diagnosed with cancer.
Thanks to modern medicine she's still with me.

What are you grateful for?

What a lovely post. I'm grateful that my husband and I are more in love and stronger than ever as we attempt IVF together, since infertility nearly tore our marriage apart earlier this year.

Such a great post. I'm newly following you on FB (Motherhood and Miscellany). I'm really enjoying your blog.
In response to your question, I'm grateful for a wonderful husband, three beautiful little girls and the opportunity to stay home with them, and the beautiful change of season we're experiencing where we live now. - Amy
