little angels

A and I went to visit his family in San Diego for Labor Day weekend. It was nice to spend time with loved ones and enjoy the beautiful Southern California weather. Since I'm still training for my half-marathon, I woke up early to run on the beach at sunrise. Waking up with the sun, surf and sand was so refreshing. Too bad I can't start my day like that every morning.

On Friday and Saturday, we drove up to Temecula to hang out with A's brother, sister-in-law and their two little angels - M and R. When I call them angels, I'm not being sarcastic. They are the sweetest, funniest little people - a true gift to have them in my life. I just love them to pieces. Sometimes I look at them and think - if I love them this much, I can't even imagine how much I'd love my own. But we may not have the opportunity to have our own, so we cherish the time with our little niece and nephew.

Warning: I'm going to shamelessly post tons of cute pics of M & R because I don't get to be a proud mama. So, I'm going to be a proud auntie.

Our day with R in Temecula at Open Air, Temecula Motorsports, and Mangoez.

A is wild and crazy everywhere he goes - not just on a motorcycle

The next day we got to spend time with M and R together at their house and have some fun in the sun.

So grateful to have these little angels in our lives! It was a fun-filled family trip to So Cal. How did you spend your Labor Day weekend?

I did the same thing! I got to spend my weekend with my little nephew who I love to pieces and then some. I have had the same thoughts about the amount of love I have for H, my nephew. I can't imagine having more love inside me!
